Watermellon Works on paper: Linocuts, Fliss Watts 2004 |
|||
| Linocuts are a happy medium between drawing and sculpture, as the process of making the linocut is like carving a small relief but the end result is a simple, strong graphic image. The vigour of the marks and the accidental effects of the method make for a simple but lively print. I also make prints inspired by the livestock in our vicinity, see more linocuts. (Sizes given are of lino from which the print is taken.) | |||
